How to make your make up last longer

Have you ever had your make up fade half way through the day?

Correct application of make-up helps women look their best.
There are many factors that will cause make up to fade throughout the day, some woman solve this by overcompensating on make-up application, some other keep repairing their make-up though out the day.

There are some simple advices that if followed will greatly extend the length of your make up:

Remove old make up before applying new make-up. Applying makeup over previous unclean make up applications makes it not last, also a good idea for skin care to go to sleep with a clean face. Make sure your skin is clean and oil free in the morning before applying your make up.

Do your best not to touch your face during the day. Obviously rubbing your face can cause makeup to smear but there is also another factor, when you first apply your make up your hands are usually clean but throughout the day your hands do accumulate dirt, dust and other elements on them, when this is added to the naturally occurring oils of your skin it will tend to pick up and remove make up on your face with contact.

Start with a moisturizer. Using a moisturizer not only safeguards your skin but also gets it ready to take make up.

Then use a primer. Primer close naturally occurring gaps in your skin, they help smooth the skin out.

Follow by an even foundation application. The foundation needs to be ever throughout, so don’t apply it with your fingers but use a sponge.

Don’t forget the powder. Immediately after applying the foundation apply translucent powder, this fixes the foundation and prevents it from braking down throughout the day.
